Jeffrey Wine
Founder & Chairman
Jeffrey Wine is a visionary entrepreneur and founder of JWS Partners Corporation, a dynamic marketing and consulting company committed to empowering business growth and innovation. With nearly a decade of experience leading JWS, Jeffrey’s journey is characterized by resilience, creativity, and a passion for community support.
Beginning his entrepreneurial career 35 years ago with a Jiffy Lube-style business, he transformed a building from the ground up and expanded services to become a state-certified emissions station in Virginia. In the early 1990s, he ventured into the golf industry, leading several companies and introducing groundbreaking marketing strategies that generated millions in revenue.
Facing Stage IV cancer, Jeffrey demonstrated extraordinary determination, overcoming adversity and revitalizing a struggling car wash—increasing its revenue from $5,000 to over $22,000 monthly. He then acquired a car dealership, setting a record of 85 vehicle sales in a month during his treatment.
After successfully managing both businesses through the challenges of COVID-19, Jeffrey relocated to South Carolina, where he is excited to collaborate with the local community. He is dedicated to helping fellow business owners achieve success and strengthen the community through meaningful partnerships.
Despite facing additional health challenges, including a significant surgery and a life-altering car accident, Jeffrey’s passion for health and fitness shines through as he trains for the Ironman Triathlon in Kona, Hawaii. His mission is clear: to inspire and assist businesses and individuals in reaching their fullest potential, proving that resilience and community spirit can drive transformative change.
John Forbes
Senior Partner & CEO
John Forbes is a seasoned financial professional with extensive C-Level leadership experience, specializing in corporate finance. Based in Virginia Beach, VA, he has a proven track record at Fortune 500 companies, AAA-rated public finance, and privately owned enterprises, excelling in mergers and acquisitions, complex financing arrangements, and debt restructuring.
As the new Senior Partner at JWS Publishing, John is enthusiastic about collaborating with the local community to help businesses grow and reach their full potential. His innovative strategies have already enhanced the company’s financial performance, including the creation of a proprietary analytics system that significantly increased rental revenues and net operating income.
John served as First Vice President of Predictive Analytics and Forecasting at SunTrust Mortgage Company, where he led teams in developing advanced risk assessment models and AI-driven predictions. His prior experience includes key roles in the Commonwealth of Virginia, where he maintained a AAA bond rating and managed a $160 billion budget during challenging economic times.
With a Master’s in Econometrics from the State University of New York and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Finance) from Old Dominion University, John combines academic knowledge with practical experience. Known for his friendly and approachable nature, he looks forward to strengthening relationships within the community and contributing to its growth and success.
